The young golfer can count on multiple prominent supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, possesses numerous courses worldwide and regularly matches against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He practically told me to compete and relax," she added.
"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments this year and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.
"He represents the best player in the world," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."
She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence exposes the sport to different demographics, particularly among younger fans.
Kai has substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive fashion and living company.
She begins at 17:30 GMT.
